The food was healthy, with a wide array of options. This was a magnificent and stunning location adjacent to the train station, Kingussie, which itself is a beautiful town, and restaurants, a pub and a supermarket. Fast food restaurant Cantonese & Peking was located 20 minutes walk away.

Beautiful old place with free parking. Excellent staff. 3. Gorgeous and traditional breakfast with a bowl of cereal and numerous options. 4. Convenient location to Ruthven Barracks. 5. Simply nothing was too much trouble; just a perfect stay.

I would definitely return to Avondale House if we go to Kingussie. It's our go-to place to stay when in Kingussie! The staff is really helpful and friendly along with the hotel's host. The restaurant serves absolutely amazing vegetarian food.

Avondale House is a nice old building with a convenient location just off the Highland Wildlife Park, Landmark Adventure Park, Aviemore, and many other local attractions. the breakfast is lovely and traditional, with good vegetarian options available.

The location of Avondale House in Kingussie is unbeatable and stunning, next to the beautiful town with several restaurants, pubs, and cafes. the room was superior with a bath in the bedroom, and we also received cookies upon arrival. It was very close to the train station, and we really enjoyed our stay there.
